TRAUMA on cybergoth, elektro, EBM, industrial, electro industrial, dark wave, cold wave, aggrotech, power noise, power electronics, technoid, avant-garde, futurepop, synthcore, neofolk, dark ambient, ambient noise/industrial, illbient, electronic, atmospheric, ethereal, experimental -klubi, joka soittaa asiakkailleen laadukasta mustanpuhuvaa energistä, kokeilevaa ja fiilistelevää musiikkia. Klubi on suunnattu henkilöille, jotka arvostavat kyberkulttuuria, scifiä, fantasiaa ja ovat kiinnostuneita mm. goottilaisuuden eri ilmentymistä. Toisinaan soittelemme myös perinteisempää kamaa, mm. goottia, retroa jne. vähän illan teeman ja fiilisten mukaan. Tervetulleita ovat kaikki aiheesta kiinnostuneet (*).

Klubillamme on neljä vakio-DJ:tä, Armsgrade (Jeremias), Cenobite (Krisse), Neurobashing (Janne) ja Shangfu (Topi). Meillä on tapana ottaa vieraaksi hyväksi havaittuja guest star-DJ:tä, jotka vaihtelevat satunnaisesti kerrasta toiseen. Toisinaan otamme mukaan myös vierailevia animaatio- ja valoexperttejä, kuin myös joitakin bändejä jos vain tilaa riittää ja päästään järjestelyistä yksimielisyyteen. Kerran/pari vuodessa järjestetään myös dark ambient -painotteinen ns. "TRAUMGEIST".

Tarkoituksena on generoida viihtyisää toimintaa tanssinälkäisille, fiilistelijöille ja musiikillista taidetta arvostaville hengenheimolaisille.



"TRAUMA#18 ~ Decadent Xmas" järjestetään lauantaina 29.11.2008 ravintola Heavycornerissa Hietaniemenkatu 2, Kamppi, 00100 Helsinki, K-20. Sisäänpääsy 5€ + narikka. Klubi alkaa klo. 20:00. Tervetuloa kaikki paikalle viettämään infernaalisia pikkujouluja kanssamme helvetillisen hyvän musiikin ja seuran parissa. Illan DJ:t ovat Shangfu, Cenobite, Armsgrade ja Neurobashing.

Klo. 20-21 happy hour (2€ stobet ym. kivaa). Heavycorner suljetaan 04:00.

Asialle vihkiytyneet voivat opastaa ensikertalaisia, emmekä anna tarkempia ohjeita. Sisälle emme tahdo kuitenkaan ottaa mm. tuulipuvussa, verkkareissa, emmekä kaipaa räyhääjiä. Hyvät tavat kunniaan.

Shangfu

DJ-skenen myyttinen ja arvoituksellinen äänimaailmojen kutoja. Shangfulta voi aina odottaa yllätyksiä ja ennen kaikkea erinomaista materiaalia, joka saa mielikuvituksen liikkeelle ja jalan vipattamaan. Trauman viimeisin DJ-kiinnitys.

Shangfu on Trauman vieraana ollut jo useammankin kerran ja kun ruodusta sattui löytymään tilaa niin tottahan toki halusimme ottaa tämän hyväksi havaitun kaverin osaksi vakiokalustoamme.

Emme lajittele Shangfun genrejä, sillä vain taivas on rajana mitä tältä kaverilta voi odottaa. :)
















Armsgrade

Tutustui ja ihastui industrial-musiikkiin 90-luvun alussa. Suosikkiyhtyeetkin ovat pääasiallisesti tältä ajalta eli levylautaselle päätyy usein ääninäytteitä yhtyeiltä Cubanate/Clock DVA/Download/Front 242/Ministry/Skinny Puppy/Test Dept. Fanittaa myös kovasti herroja Cevin Key ja Nivek Ogre. Uudempia tuttavuuksia edustavat mm. Black Lung ja Sielwolf.

Pitää musiikista joka etenee voimalla ja vauhdilla eteenpäin ja vie kuulijan mukanaan, fiilistelyä ja vahvoja maalaavia tunnelmointeja unohtamatta.

Armsgrade on ollut monessa mukana jo Trauman alkutaipaleesta lähtien taustavaikuttajana sekä vierailevana DJ:nä vakuuttavin ansioin. Meillä on kunnia saada hänet vakituiseksi riveihimme mukaan, tervetuloa!













Neurobashing

Neurobashing aloitti Deep Clubilla 1993 ambient dj:nä (silloin artistinimenä oli Space J), jonka jälkeen satunnaisia keikkoja eri puolella Helsinkiä.

Setit koostuneet lähinnä old school EBM:stä ja industrialista (DAF, Nitzer Ebb, FLA, Front 242, Leather Strip, Proceed, Spetsnaz), mutta sekaan mahtuu myös niin vanhaa goottia (Cure, Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, Ikon, Joy Division) kuin futureakin (Gary Numan, Ultravox, John Foxx, The Normal, Human League, New Order, Soft Cell), eli hyvää musiikkia laidasta laitaan on tulossa.

Neurobashing tuo Trauman riveihin tuntuvaa substanssia ja fiilistä, meidän kaikkien traumaattiseksi iloksi.













Cenobite

Trauman levylautasten cenobiitti. On toiminut muusikin parissa eri nimillä jo joitakin vuosia, pääasiassa kokeellisella ja elektronisella saralla. Aikaisemmin nimellä Enthronement ja viime vuosina aktiivisena on ollut lähinnä Rauschenmaschine. Myös 3-henkinen elektropunk yhteisprojekti löytyy, nimeltään Bearbeiter. Musisointi alkoi C64:sta ja eteni siitä aikanaan joidenkin syntsakokeilujen jälkeen PC-maailmaan.

Trauma on tämän kaverin musiikkiharrastuksen jatke, jossa voi samalla fiilistellä kavereiden kanssa. Rosewater, Kiew, Kraftwerk, Iszoloscope, Arpanet, Anthony Rother ja Laibach ovat mm. sellaisia bändejä, joiden teoksia kuullaan, mutta kaikkea muutakin on luvassa kokeellisuuden ja monipuolisuuden hengessä.
